This editorial is written about a personal experience with scoliosis bracing in grade school. Scoliosis is the curving of the spine which results in uneven shoulders and hips. An angled line is carried through each spread to speak to this idea of misalignment. Arrows as well as dashed lines and cursive letters are used to reflect the experience of learning to write cursive in grade school, the time of my life when I wore a brace to correct my scoliosis. Accessibility and readability of the text is maintained through the use of large visuals, small caps, cursive letterforms, and arrows carried throughout the piece. /. 8.5" x 10"
